Mindful Marathon – Costa Brava
An All-Day Hike and Personal Growth Experience
Hike, Reflect, Grow
When you look back on your best memories from the past few years, which experiences stand out?
For me, it’s always about nature, movement, great people, and a sense of adventure. As I scrolled through my photo reel from the past year, I realized that my peak moments all shared these elements. That realization led my team at YOGABODY and I to create something special—an event designed to bring these transformative experiences to more people. That’s how the Mindful Marathon was born.
Our next event takes place along the stunning coastline of northeastern Spain. This unique experience blends epic hikes, immersive yoga sessions, and guided journaling, all designed to foster community, connection, and self-discovery. Whether you’re looking for personal growth or a rejuvenating escape, the Mindful Marathon is a chance to step away from the ordinary and create unforgettable memories in one of the world’s most breathtaking settings.
How it Works
On Friday May 23, we’ll get on a private bus in Barcelona for a 1.5hr drive to Sant Feliu de Guixols in the Costa Brava. You’ll check into the hotel, receive your Mindful Marathon Journal, meet the team and your fellow hikers, have dinner and then get a good night’s sleep.
The next morning, we’ll start at dawn, and we’ll walk all day long, stopping every couple of miles to turn the focus inward, write one of twelve journaling assignments, eat something, and then continue on our way.
Each leg of the journey offers new landscapes and is framed with a specific journal assignment.
The hike takes place along the seafront paths of the epic Camí de Ronda trail, along the Costa Brava, Spain, covering 13.1 miles (half marathon) or 26.2 miles (full marathon). This unique stretch of coastline includes sandy beaches, rocky cliffs, pine trees, lookout points, historic buildings, and long stretches of nothing. If it’s your first time to this region, you’ll fall in love; if you’ve been before, you’ll already know why we’ve chosen this destination.
While this is a marathon, it’s not a race. We’ll hike, not run, and there are no timers, no bibs, and no competition. We’ll walk together and take our time. Our support team will take care of all the logistics, you’ll simply carry a small bag with water and snacks, so you can walk lightly and stay focused.
Is This Right for You?
- Ask yourself: How many of your best memories involve adventure, nature, and movement?
- When you hear stories of people climbing mountains, running races, or cycling across the country, do you feel a quiet pull toward adventure—even if you’re not an athlete and have no plans to become one?
- Do you sense that the next chapter of your life could be the best yet—but also recognize the need to pause, reflect, and realign with your values and goals?
If you answered “Yes!” to any of these, then the Mindful Marathon might be exactly what you’re looking for. We’d love to invite you to join us!

Mindful Marathon Reviews
"A humbling privilege I will never forget"
To run 30 miles in one day was a new edge for me. I’m immensely grateful to reconnect with such a passion and love of mine and believe I can do it again and more! And to witness others, from the fastest to the slowest, all equal, pushing through our own limits. A humbling privilege I will never forget.

“Far exceeded my expectations”
Often my path is mostly flat. From there I can only see one horizon. This weekend I turned to the hills and discovered a new horizon at every peak. Unexpected strength, endurance, connection, healing, and possibility. A much-needed experience that far exceeded my expectations.
